We have a supplier who imports certified organic
produce from the United States, Mexico, and other countries.
We require that growers from outside of the Kootenays be certified
organic. We have many Kootenay and South Okanagan growers
who we buy produce from whenever possible. In order to support
local growers, we do not require that our Kootenay organic
growers be certified however most of our growers are. Our
non-certified growers grow to certified standards. Click
here to meet our growers and suppliers. See our Links
page for information on the organic certifiers.

We try to avoid making changes to the upcoming
box contents, but it does happen. There are a few reasons:
- Our supplier may not receive what they thought they would,
so they may not have what we've ordered;
- We may have received something that's poor quality so
we'll put something better in the boxes;
- Local growers may not have as much of an item as they
thought. This may be from a quick change in the weather
that causes the plants to go to seed or cause other damage,
or a sudden slow down in growth so the food isn't ready
when the grower thought it would be.
When we have to make a change to what's in the
boxes, we make sure that you have the same dollar value by
putting in more of other items. We also send out a Box Contents
update on Tuesday to help you plan your meals and other shopping.
We know these last minute changes can be frustrating. This
is part of a closer tie to our food: we are more connected
to Nature when we choose to eat locally and organically grown
food. Please refer to your newsletter for what should be in
your box that week.

Please let us know! We inspect all of the food
that goes into the boxes, and we do our best to make sure
that you get what you are expecting. We do make mistakes sometimes.
We are happy to give you a replacement or refund for anything
that you either didn't receive or that was unsatisfactory.
So please tell us if your bananas don't ripen, your orange
is moldy, or your head of lettuce has bugs in it. We want
to make sure that you are happy with what you receive and
we appreciate your feedback. When you tell us about problems,
you are helping us do our job better!

Because we only order what we need for the week,
we can not accept changes after your order deadline. Your
deadline depends on your delivery day. Click

We do require payment on delivery, and we need
the boxes back so we can continue to use them. If you have
trouble remembering, you can prepay and save yourself some
money! We offer 5% off when paying for 4 boxes in advance,
or a free box when paying for 12. Call us for more information.

We reuse the box the food comes in, so please
clean it and wipe it out before returning it. We like to reuse
the containers that strawberries and cherry tomatoes come
in for small fruits and give them to our growers to use. We
accept Olera egg cartons for reuse by Olera Farms. Please
only return clean, intact, reusable containers to us. Some
things we can not reuse:
- egg cartons from other than Olera Farms
- soy milk containers
- coffee bags
We have an abundance of wax boxes that food
comes to us in. If you or someone you know has a use for any
of these items, please let us know.

Endless Harvest was started in July 1998. There
are now five of us involved in bringing you your food. We
buy from a supplier who imports organic produce, so we are

We regularly donate food to local aid groups.
Every year in December, we offer our customers the opportunity
to donate organic produce at wholesale prices to aid groups
of their choice. We match the dollar value of our customers'
donations. We use a propane-powered delivery van to keep emissions
down. We focus on providing minimally packaged, locally-grown
and produced food to keep our money in our community. Everyone
who works with us is offered a good working environment, all
food purchases a wholesale prices, and health benefits.
